Chapter 333 Cassie’s Way out
Chapter 334 Help
Cassie took a slight breath and answered with a question. “Miss Bush, are you satisfied with today’s counterattack?”
Nova didn’t answer but looked at Cassie up and down.
Cassie’s words had implications. Nova didn’t think Kelly would ask Cassie to bring her words.
“What exactly are you trying to say?”
Cassie tried to retain her composure and said calmly, “If I didn’t help you, I don’t think you would fight Miss Kelly so
easily.”
Nova narrowed her eyes. Cassie’s words weren’t groundless. She indeed felt that she solved things easier.
She also felt that Kelly’s tricks today were stupid. Everything would make sense if Cassie was really behind all these.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtCassie was the most trusted subordinate of Kelly’s, and, naturally, Kelly would believe everything she said.
But Nova wasn’t anxious to know what Cassie had done. She looked at Cassie, showing not much interest. “So,
you’re trying to tell me th you’re helping me?”
Cassie shook her head. “I am not. I am helping myself.”
Nova answered with silence.
Cassie heaved a sigh and continued, “I’ve been serving Kelly, but I’m really exhausted. She never treated me like a
human being. She thin
I’m an animal that needs to do everything for her and a vent to her anger.”
As she said so, she rolled her sleeves and revealed the scars, big and small, on her arms. Nova was shocked, and
asked in a deep voice
“Can’t you fight back? You’re being abused!”
“How could I? She has things on me. She threatens me with my family. She claimed that my family would be on the
blacklist and be
kicked out of our jobs. We’re human and we need to work to feed ourselves. How would we survive if she really
does so?”
Cassie’s voice was harsh and desperate. Nova looked at her unemotionally. “Why do you come to me? If she finds
out, she would still make your families suffer.”
Cassie shook her head. “No, she won’t.”
Nova fixed her eyes on Cassie, waiting for this girl to continue.
Apparently, Cassie had made adequate preparation. She only needed to listen to what Cassie had to say.
Cassie continued, “I know everything between you and Kelly for the past years. I know what Kelly had done. But she
was too smart and I was too cowardly in the past. We didn’t have much evidence in hand. From today on, I will keep

Nova felt it was interesting.
Cassie had been Kelly’s confidant for years. This girl was smart and capable. Would Kelly really vent her anger on
Cassie?
Nova didn’t believe Cassie. It might be another trick of Kelly’s.
If Cassie leaked all her plans to Kelly, she would be heavily blown by Kelly. She would be ruined by then.
Cassie had guessed what Nova was thinking, and she continued sincerely, “Though you and Kelly are cousins, you
aren’t the same at all. She was a hypocrite, but you’re really a good woman. I can tell after all these years. It’s a
shame that I was controlled by her and that I couldn’t do a thing to free myself from the shackles. But now I see
light. Miss Bush, you’re such a great woman that I am willing to help you!”
