“Miss, may I ask if you have an appointment?”
The receptionist looked at Kaylah with a respectful smile.
Kaylah frowned slightly. She had never enjoyed such a warm and refreshing treatment before.
Kaylah looked down and finally understood.
The clothes she was wearing today were all prepared by Andy. They were designer brands. Coupled with her face and temperament, no one treated her like an ordinary person.

Kaylah was still waiting for her reply and frowned slightly.
“Sorry, I mean, who is this takeout for?”
“Mr. Lowery.”
Before Kaylah could finish speaking, a familiar and annoying voice came from behind her. “Why do these
women keep looking for Mr. Lowery? Can’t you just stop?”
He meant Kaylah was one of those women who fantasized about meeting Hendry here.
Kaylah turned around and glanced coldly at Rayan.
Rayan wanted to mock the overconfident women, but when Kaylah turned around, Rayan almost bit her
tongue.
“Kaylah, why are you here?”
Hearing Kaylah’s name, all the receptionists looked at her in surprise. The gorgeous woman standing in
front of them was actually their boss‘ wife.
“Since I’m not welcome here, I am leaving.” Kaylah looked away expressionlessly.
After that, she picked up the package and turned to leave.
“Hey, don’t leave! Wait!” Rayan was frightened and quickly reached out to stop her.
However, Kaylah’s gaze turned cold as she yelled, “Get out of the way.”
“That’s not what I meant. Could you please let me explain…?”

As they pulled and pushed, the elevator arrived with a beep.
Hendry led a group of people in suits out of the elevator, just in time to see the woman who was stopped
by Rayan.
Because Kaylah’s back was facing them, Hendry did not recognize Kaylah.
He frowned slightly and went forward to ask, “What’s wrong?”
Rayan raised her head abruptly. “Hen… Mr. Lowery! Kaylah is…”
“Kaylah?” Hendry immediately reacted. His expression instantly changed as he looked down at Kaylah.
However, he happened to meet her angry eyes and froze.
“Get out of the way.” Kaylah’s tone was cold as she shouted.
Rayan was so frightened that he immediately took a few steps back and was pulled to the side by
Chad.
“What’s going on?” Chad asked.
Rayan shook his head repeatedly, indicating he did not understand either.
Kaylah wanted to leave after Rayan made way for her, but Hendry grabbed Kaylah’s arm.
Hendry handed the documents and laptop in his hands to Chad.
“I might be late for this meeting. Help me take care of it first.”
