Chapter 124 What Are You Doing Here?
Coming out of the hospital, Kaylah and Aryan went to the ZiKay Group together.
Aryan was in a bad state. He stared at the necklace in his hand and did not speak.
Kaylah knew that he missed his mother. She did not persuade him and let him immerse himself in his thoughts. He would come around slowly.
She waited until Aryan became better before she said, “I need to prepare for the Pearson family’s dinner party in two days. Can I invite you to go with me?”
Aryan was stunned.
Kaylah did not care whether he agreed or not. Even if he did not want to, he had to agree. She directly pressed the elevator button and went to Design Department.
“It’s settled. Come to my place for dinner later.”
After work, Kaylah took Aryan to her small apartment to eat because of the matter
about the hospital.
She cooked. There was one more person in the cozy small house, which made it livelier.
Besides, Aryan was talkative, so they kept talking.
They chatted while eating. Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Aryan complained as he went to open the door.
When the door was opened, the two people were surprised.
Hendry looked at Aryan, who was wearing casual clothes. Hendry’s face immediately darkened. “Why
are you here?”
Aryan frowned. “I haven’t asked you yet. What are you doing here?”
Hendry clenched his fists and looked inside. He could only see a vague figure.
Aryan immediately stepped forward to block Hendry’s vision and asked coldly, “Mr. Lowery, what’s the
matter?”
“I’m looking for Kaylah.” Hendry wanted to rush inside.
Aryan stopped him. When the two men’s shoulders collided, they both used force, yet there was no
change in their expressions.
“She doesn’t want to see you now.”
After saying that, Aryan wanted to close the door directly, but Hendry quickly pressed
the door.
“I’m looking for her. It has nothing to do with you.”
“Hendry, do
you
know that you look terrible when you pester her like this?”
Aryan’s tone was exasperated. The atmosphere between Kaylah and him was clearly harmonious.
However, a bastard came over to stir up trouble. How could Aryan feel happy?
“What’s wrong?”
Kaylah heard the noise at the door, put down the plate, and ran over.
When she arrived at the door, she found that it was Hendry. Kaylah stopped in her tracks, and her tone
suddenly became cold.
“What are you doing here?”

Seeing that Hendry did not answer, Kaylah said, “Mr. Lowery, if there is nothing else, please don’t come to disturb me again. With our current relationship, we will only annoy each other. Why bother?”
Hendry’s pupils shook violently. “Do you hate seeing me so much?”
“Of course. Do you think you are very good–looking? You narcissist,” Aryan whispered
from the side.
Hendry pretended not to hear and only stared deeply at Kaylah.
Kaylah hated herself for being unable to control her feelings. They had already divorced him, and she had already decided to let go of the past and start anew. However, every time she faced Hendry, her heart would thump uncontrollably.
This feeling made Kaylah angry.
She glared at Hendry fiercely.
“That’s right. I hate seeing you. Can you scram now?” Kaylah’s tone was not polite at
all.
Hendry looked at Kaylah for a long time, took out a small gift box from his bag, and handed it over to Kaylah.
Kaylah was confused. “What is this?”
