His Best Friend's Sister-in-law Max stared down at the little woman that looked at him with a cold expression, standing in front of him. What are the odds that the woman he had encountered today at the airport would end up being his best friend's sister in- law. For the life in him, this wasn't exactly how he had mapped out his evening to go.

But can you blhim? Lots of women had played out the supposed 'bumping into him' trick just to get him to notice them so how could've he have known that she was genuinely telling the truth about not wanting anything from him? Women always wanted something from him and they went through great lengths to get it as well. It's a well known fact at this point. If he wasn't filling their cunt with his dick and making them scream out his nat the top of their voices then he was satisfying them in other necessary areas.

They always wanted him and it's not like he was complaining about it. It's always a win-win situation for both parties at the end of the day which was why he had assumed that she was one of them. If only he had recognized her, then he wouldn't have approached her at all.

Earlier this evening, and all through dinner, he had been on his toes. He didn't exactly know how to act or to salvage this big mess that he had created for himself. And to think that he had even teased Bryce earlier, telling him about a girl that had wanted him at the airport. If Bryce were to figure out that it was his sister in-law that he was talking about, then their friendship would be as good as dead which was why he had to fix this as soon as possible.

He had to make her believe that he was sorry. She's just a naive girl from the convent so how hard would it be? Christina scrunched her face at him impatiently, waiting for what he had to say. He had blocked her path and yet, he wasn't saying anything. What could he possibly want from her this taround? She made to leave for the second tbut he stopped her yet again. "What is it that you want Sir? If you're not going to say anything then could you at least letwalk through?" "I'm deeply sorry Christina." He blurted out after a while. "I didn't mean whatever i said at the airport earlier today and moving forward, i want us to start afresh on a clean slate and forget that any of this ever happened." He offered, hoping that he was at least able to get through to her.

She looked at him, utterly disgusted and it showed. "And what makes you think that i want to start afresh on a clean slate?" She countered and he couldn't believe his ears. He wasn't expecting her to talk back at him, much more with such an attitude.

"And is this how you apologize for doing something wrong, Sir?" She questioned adamantly. "You don't even sound genuine about it so why should i forgive you. You're only apologizing because you don't want my brother in-law to find out about what you did and that is not an acceptable apology to me." Max was dumbfounded. Surely, she wasn't speaking to him in that manner. "And what else do you wantto say? I've apologized for my mistake, have I not?" He said in a desperate whisper.

"And are you apologizing because you want to buy my silence or because you're genuinely sorry for what you did?" Christina asked him, her eyes staring at him with intent.

"I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't have bothered to apologize if you didn't find out that i was Hera's sister. You were quite serious at the airport when you askedto share a bed with you." "You ladies are such cheap whores that you make it look easy." Christina quoted Max's words and his eyes flew open. He didn't think that she had heard him say that.

"Those were your exact words right?" She threw her chin at him defiantly when he couldn't respond. "You shouldn't have bothered to fake an apology when you know that it wouldn't be sincere. I would've appreciated it a lot if you had said nothing instead of approachingand acting like you were truly sorry. That's low, even for someone like you, Sir." Max scoffed. "But I-" "And you don't have to worry about my brother in-law finding out. My sister treats you like family and Bryce is also your best friend so i wouldn't want to ruin that relationship you have with them." She interrupted him.

"And besides, unlike you, i actually know how to keep my mouth shut and not say inappropriate things to make people feel uncomfortable." Christina pointed out sternly leaving Max at a loss for words.

"By the way, your apology is not accepted. You see women as objects for pleasure and this shallow apology you rendered, will not makesee you any differently or forgive you so won't even pretend to accept it. Have a nice evening, sir." She said to him before walking out of his preslence.

Max forced a strangled laugh. He couldn't believe that she had spoken to him like that. Weren't women from the convent levelheaded and respectful? Or did she cfrom another part of hell disguised as a convent? He had remembered how quiet and calm Hera was when she cto the city for the first time. She was very humble and never talked back at anyone but her sister is the complete opposite of her.

Fuck! If she wasn't Hera's sister then

he would've given her a piece of his mind. He made one mistake of approaching her and she had then guts to lecture him about it? What E ever happened to forgiveness or whatever it was that they preached toothem at the convent? Was she even raised there properly? "Max?" Bryce called out to him and he snapped out of his reverie. He didn't even know when he walked in here. "Christina toldthat I'd find you here. Is everything okay?" That little brat. He cursed inwardly. "Yeah. I was on my way over to meet you." "You haven't toldabout your trip back hand the preparation for the new hotel." Bryce primped, his both hands dipped into his pocket.

"I just have a lot on my mind." Max brushed him off. "But i can assure om you that it's coming around swimmingly." He added with a smile trying to console himself from what that woman had said to him. "Did something happen back home?"

Max shook his head negatively. Other than the fact that he was just schooled by that little woman m everything was exceptional. "Not really. Everything went okay." He added, hoping that, that woman stays away from him as far as possible because so help him that she crosses the line ever again.
