Chapter 133 I Am Waiting For That Day

It was raining at the time. Eileen found herself surrounded by four or five men, and her clothes were

almost torn to shreds, exposing large patches of skin.

Her face was barely recognizable, but there was no denying that the person in the photo was

her

She had no idea where the photo had come from.

The situation escalated quickly. Soon, everyone in the school knew about it, and they all believed that

she had slept with multiple guys.

As she walked back from the restroom, even if those she passed by didn’t make any comments, they

kept their distance from her as if afraid of catching a disease.

“No wonder she left school three months ago… Look at her. She’s dirty!”

Enduring the swirl of rumors, Eileen returned to her classroom. Jennifer summoned her to the office not

long after she sat down, and even the teachers gave her strange looks when she walked in.

When they were alone in the lounge, Jennifer cut straight to the chase and said, “You’ve heard the

rumors and gossip going around the school, haven’t you? Do you have anything to explain to me?”

Eileen remained silent.

“So, it’s all true?”

“Even if I explain now and say that it’s not true, would it make any difference?” Eileen asked. They only

believe in what they want to believe, so any explanation is basically useless.

Jennifer fell silent for a moment. After a while, she said, “You’ve been getting into one trouble after

another recently. Before the school’s administration discusses how to handle the public discourse,

we’ve decided to suspend you from school for a while. Mr. Gardner from the Olympiad Math team will

find someone else to join. Do you have any objections to this decision?”

Eileen replied, “I have no objections.”

Alright. I’ll contact your parents now and ask them to come pick you up.”

That won’t be necessary. I can go back on my own.”

Eileen returned to the classroom and began packing her things. No one paid much attention

to her as they were all engrossed in answering their test papers. Yvette hadn’t come to class that day.

All the classes were in session by the time Eileen left. As she walked past a classroom, all the students

swarmed toward her, completely disregarding the teacher giving the lesson.

“What are you all doing? Come back and pay attention to the lesson!” the teacher barked. However,

those words fell on deaf ears.

Several male students blocked Eileen’s path and teasingly said, “Isn’t this the talented lady? I heard

you’ve been with quite a few people. Is it true?”

“Why don’t you tell us how it felt?” another added.

Frowning, Vera stepped forward. “What do you think you’re doing? Stop spewing nonsense. Eileen is

nothing like how you’re portraying her.”

“Vera, you should stop meddling in things that don’t concern you. The Swan family adopted you, but

Eileen has never truly considered you as family. You should stay out of it.”

As Walsh quickly pulled Vera aside, another student laughed and called out, “Yeah. Go ahead and tell

us.”

“Move aside,” said Eileen. She took a step forward, only to be blocked by someone.

“Why the rush to leave? We haven’t finished chatting yet. If you’re too shy to tell us, why don’t you just

name a price? How much for a night? Spend one night with us, too, and let us have a taste.”

Angered, Vera stepped forward and snapped, “You guys had better not go too far.”

Eileen should have been angry, but looking at the boys’ disgusting faces, she felt like laughing instead.

“Three thousand for one night. That’s not too expensive, is it?”

“That cheap? I spend nearly a hundred thousand just for a night out.”

Eileen’s eyes curved as she smiled, exuding a charm that was enchanting yet not overly seductive.

She was undeniably beautiful. Even when compared to all the other girls in the school, she was second

to none.

Suddenly, someone handed her a bank card. “There’s two hundred thousand in there. You’re mine for

the year.”

She vaguely knew the person who gave her the card. His family was in the mining business and was

quite wealthy indeed. She couldn’t remember his name, though.

Eileen took the bank card with a smile. “Even if I agreed, would you dare to lay a finger on

me? Have you forgotten? I’m from the Swan family, the family that unscrupulous and dishonorable.”

you all say is

Walking forward, she lightly tapped his face with the bank card and continued in an icy tone, Go ask

your father if he dares to offend the Swans. Don’t forget what happened to those three people who

offended me.”

She spoke slowly and clearly, emphasizing each word.

Indeed, they had almost completely forgotten about that.

The Gates family was now on the brink of bankruptcy. Teresa’s past deeds had also been brought to

light, and not long after that, she was sentenced to five years in prison. As for Lany, there had been no

news of her.

Meanwhile, the Sheppards and the Hunts were also no better off. Rumor had it that they had fled,

leaving behind a debt of tens of millions.

No sooner had Eileen said that than many of the others instantly paled. They all belonged to the same

elite circle, and everyone knew about it if someone’s company went under or one of them ended up in

jail. Perhaps it was because most of them had business dealings with those families and had been

affected to some extent, so it was impossible for them not to know.

The person who had started the teasing immediately said in a jesting tone, “We were just joking with

you. It’s no fun if you take it seriously. All of us used to be your classmates, so don’t be so petty.”

Some people were just that way, thinking that being well-off made them better than others.

“So, you feel proud just because you’re a Swan?” A cold voice rang out from among the group of

students, and Eileen watched as Charlie approached, the crowd parting for him. “Sooner or later, I will

personally bring down your family!”

How

many people have died because of what Will Swan has done? Even if he was slapped with the death

penalty, executing him by firing squad ten times over wouldn’t be enough!

“I can’t wait for that day,” she replied eagerly, eagerly anticipating the day when Will would no longer be

a part of Hulbury. In her mind, Charlie’s family was like the immune system fighting against the Swans,

who were like a cancer.

Eileen walked away from him, and in front of everyone, she defiantly tossed the bank card she had

been holding into the trash can.

She couldn’t help but feel relieved knowing that Will was away on vacation and wouldn’t be back for a

while. She decided to stay home for a few days, enjoying the freedom of having no one to restrict her.

During those few days, she didn’t go anywhere and simply spent her time idling at home, passing the

time.

Suddenly, a knock reverberated through the quiet house. She had no idea who it could be, and she had

no desire to find out.

The knocking persisted, growing louder with each rap.

Reluctantly, she went to open the door. However, when the door swung open, she was taken aback to

see Eric standing there.

Her expression froze, and then she narrowed her eyes and turned to go back into the house. She sat

cross-legged on the floor and resumed her drawing. There was a soft cushion and blanket on the floor,

keeping her warm.

As he entered the house, he glanced around. Despite the living room and kitchen appearing old, they

were impeccably clean. There were a few unwashed dishes in the sink, though.

Sunlight streamed in through the window, casting its rays on Eileen. She was wearing a Blake fleece

pajama set with a hood that had two small pointed ears.

Her sleeves were rolled up, and she held a paintbrush in her hand. Paint splatters adorned her hands,

clothes, and even the floor.

“You got expelled from school, and this is how you spend your time?” he asked, his voice devoid of any

emotion.

Chapter 134 Not As Easygoing

“If you’re asking me to go back, there’s no need. I’m doing quite well here on my own.” Eileen said as

she painted a field of sunflowers under a deep blue sky.

The sunflowers stretched as far as the eye could see, bathed in golden sunlight. These flowers,

reaching towards the light, were filled with hope and brightness.

One’s state of mind is most evident when painting. Some people, when in a bad mood, would depict a

night sky filled with dense clouds and raging storms. However, Eileen only painted the light she hoped

for in her heart.

She was indeed a talented painter. With such skill, she was definitely capable of getting into the art

academy she wished to apply to.

Will explicitly forbade her from touching the paintbrush, yet Eric was unaware of those restrictions.

How is she still able to paint at such a level? Oh right, I almost forgot, she never follows the rules. Eric

sat down on the couch, noticing a piece of paper on the table. “Will you come back with me now, or

should I have someone come to fetch you?”

It was a notice for a parent-teacher conference, along with a registration form for a winter camp. She

had already filled in the information, including her own name. All that was missing was a parent’s

signature.

Upon seeing that, Eric furrowed his eyebrows, a sharp glint flashing across his eyes.

“If I return, aren’t you afraid that I’ll bully your precious Vera?” Eileen gazed at the painting on the flower

rack, always feeling as if something was missing.

She scrutinized it carefully and waited for Eric’s response, but he did not speak.

There was no need for her to look to know what expression he would have on his face.

“Without your presence, I live better than ever before.” These were her heartfelt words.

At that moment, she didn’t understand what Eric was truly thinking. He despised her, wishing she were

dead.

Yet, when she didn’t want to get close to him, he kept showing up in front of her, time and time again.

No one but Eric would stir up trouble at school or deal with the photos.

As a result, in the eyes of all teachers and students, she had become something dirty that had
