He tilted his head back and finished the water in a single breath.

Cedrick frowned upon seeing Javier’s name on the screen.
“What is it?”
“Ced…Cedrick, please don’t punch me!” stammered Javier under his breath anxiously. “I
didn’t do it on purpose, I swear! I just wanted to test her loyalty.”
“Test her loyalty’?

Crunch! The plastic bottle flattened in his hand.
His eyes darkened as he snarled, “What did you do to her?”

information we need about the City Center project, okay?”
The man waved the knife in his hand around, the metal glinting under the light, blinding Catelyn’s eyes.
She was overwhelmed with terror.
“I’m just a mere, insignificant employee in Mason Group, and I don’t know anything about the project at
all! “You got the wrong person, so please, just let me go… I’ll pretend like this whole thing never even
happened!” She staggered back fearfully.
