"Where's your dad?"

"He went out, but I have no idea what he is up to."

Rose answered, "Let me call him first. Don't act recklessly or look for the mysterious man for now."

Linda was startled for a moment before she hummed, "Alright. Hurry up and call me back later."

"Okay."

After hanging up, Rose immediately called Norman. The latter answered the call in no time.

"What is it?" Norman sounded frustrated, as if he had lost his patience with talking to Rose.

"Linda called me and told me about the incident." Rose replied with a frown.

Norman paused momentarily and croaked, "Do you have any idea now?"

"You should get some elite lawyers to check if there's anything wrong with the contract."

Norman uttered with a sullen look, "The lawyer who drafted the contract was an experienced expert. The only

person that is as good as him and capable of fighting against Elisa is Vincent, but do you think we can hire him?!"

Norman became more annoyed and nearly wanted to hang up the call.

Rose answered calmly, "I remember one of the shareholders who were loyal to you is Vincent's relative. Make a

copy of the contract and hide the confidential details. Tell him you're asking on behalf of a friend and get his help to

check the contract."

Only then did Norman have a sudden realization. "Oh, right! I'll find him now and see if he has any idea!"

"Mm-hmm."

Norman hung up and contacted the said shareholder. The person readily agreed to his request and went to find

Vincent after receiving the contract from Norman.

Meanwhile, Vincent was in distress at home. He just called Rachel, but the latter behaved like a tomboy. Not only did

she spit harsh words, but she also hung up on him! He had the urge to barge into Rachel's house and strangle her

so she would obey him.

Just then, the sound of the phone ringing jolted him back to his senses. He knitted his brows when he saw the

incoming call from a relative who seldom contacted him. Nonetheless, he still picked up the call. "Hi. What is it?"

"Hey Vincent, sorry to disturb you. I have a share transfer agreement and really need your help here. Can you

please help me check if there's any problem with the contract?"

Vincent frowned in displeasure, but he immediately recalled this person was a shareholder of Benett Corporation.

He narrowed his eyes, pondering if this request was related to Elisa.

So, he asked tentatively, "Are you planning to transfer your shares?"

"Oh, it's just some internal affair within the company, but it's related to shares transfer."

Elisa's incident caused a sensation in the company. The shareholders might not be able to keep it dark, but he did

not dare to tell a lie. Otherwise, if Vincent found out the truth, he would not do him a favor and might even pick on

him in the future. As such, he could only answer in an ambiguous way.

Vincent lifted his brows. "Send me the document. I'm occupied with something else now, so I'll only look into it at

night."

"Sure. Thank you, Vincent! I'll send the document to you right away."

"No problem."

Vincent's curiosity was piqued after the call ended. It seems like many things have been happening in Benett

Corporation recently. I wonder if Elisa is up to some new tricks. Although I'm not concerned, someone else is.
