“Yes, I will do this.” Elisa nodded in agreement. After chatting for a while, Holly could not help but feel regretful
about Elisa. She was disappointed that Elisa had married another man and could not love her son even now.

Elisa went to a corner seat and sat down. The meeting room was silent. No one made a sound, even when pulling a
chair to sit down.
Occasionally, one could hear footsteps of people coming in.
After around ten minutes, everyone arrived.
As usual, Norman took the seat at the head of the table.
He looked at Elisa quietly seated afar and thought of his pitiful daughter, who had to hide in a mental institution. He
hated Elisa for behaving so nonchalantly.
James noticed Norman was silent for a long time. Thus, he smiled at Norman and asked, “Mr. Benett, can we
begin?”
