Desperately, Elisa wished that Rachel could offer her some advice, if possible.

Gareth looked at Elisa, enunciating with utmost seriousness, “There’s no need for you to pretend in front of me. If
you’re sad, then be sad. There’s no need to feign nonchalance.”
His one sentence immediately touched the deepest part of Elisa’s heart.
In a moment of inexplicable impulse, Elisa embraced Gareth, burying her head in his chest. Silently, she shed tears,
wordlessly expressing the emotions that had been building up in her heart for a while.

She would silently blame herself, wondering why the person lying motionless on the bed

Compared to before, her eyes were a bit swollen, red like a little rabbit.

“Thank you,” Elisa said succinctly.
Gareth didn’t want her to feel too embarrassed, so he consciously avoided bringing up
