The drug in Gareth's body was not any run-off-the-mill drug.

Thomas could sense the urgency in her tone.

arrest.
They had been husband and wife. Thus, she could not bear to abandon him now.

Thomas gripped his phone and ordered people to search the nearby pharmacies.
Meanwhile, Gareth noticed how beautiful Elisa looked before his eyes. Her skin was white as snow, and her figure
was alluring. She was mesmerizing even when focused and serious.

Gareth called her name again. His voice grew hoarser than before.

He understood what Elisa meant. She was willing to help him, but she would never offer him her body to help him
satiate the effects of the drug.
Gareth was now able to think rationally. Since Elisa was unwilling, he would not force her.

he would stand under the tap, let cold water run down his head, and drench his body. He kept doing this to keep his
mind alert.
Elisa knew the drug was potent and saw Gareth struggling with the effects. Yet, he retrained himself with all his
might and never attempted to touch her.
She was impressed with his willpower.
