"That's my old way of thinking. If I keep being obsessed with Gareth, I might ruin myself." Nicole said with a rueful
smile, but her tone was serious.
Elisa made no comment.
Nicole continued, "So, you don't have to worry. I won't be deluded by Linda to come after you."
"I see." Elisa hummed.
In fact, her relationship with Gareth was in a lukewarm state now, and she didn't intend to get back together with

Elisa arrived safely at the destination and saw Nicole standing in front of a pond outside the village.
Elisa parked her car and got out of it.
"Hey, you're here." Nicole greeted Elisa.
"You looked surprised." Elisa replied calmly.
"You're bold." Nicole smiled.
Facing Nicole, Elisa wore a smile and uttered in an unflustered manner, "I believe you're rational."
They didn't have to put things out explicitly for each other to understand.
Nicole thought Eliza would guard against her and wouldn't show up, but she was surprised that the latter came.
Nicole grinned. "I should thank you for trusting me. I hope the collaboration won't disappoint you."
