return?”

downstairs?”

hotel where the guests are staying. But rest assured nobody knows your specific hotel room.”

“Fine. I'll come over shortly, so wait for me there,” Ning Ran finally agreed.

Ning Ran shook her head as she trusted Ouyang Qi.

“I think he has something urgent to discuss with me. Let's meet him together. I'd rather not take any chances with

late-night encounters being captured by others and causing another public controversy.”

Cheng Xiangyun nodded in agreement. “Yes. If someone else snaps a picture of you both, it will cause an uproar

online. Besides, it will be hard to explain things to Sir Chen.”

When Cheng Xiangyun and Ning Ran arrived at the hotel bar downstairs, Ouyang Qi was already waiting for them.

It's getting late, and I need to get some rest for work tomorrow.”
