Hubert sighed, saying, “Both directors said the old man won’t make it till tomorrow morning. Even Nash
can’t do anything!”
Rooney was inwardly pleased but did not show it.
Hubert continued, “There’s something else I have to tell you. The old man seems to have regained his
memory, and he wants to see Nash…”
Rooney’s eyebrows shot up, and she said anxiously, “Given the old man’s regard for Nash, the old
man’s inheritance might fall into Harrison’s hands!”
Helena lightly parted her lips and said, “Even at this critical moment, you’re still thinking about
