He did not think much about it but turned to Cecile. The girl ran into trouble even when she was just staying at a hotel. It seemed like he ought to settle
the villa as soon as he could-best if Cecile could move in the next day.
Kayson asked, "Cecile, how did you bump into Stanley?"
“I was planning to eat somewhere nearby, but he stoppedjust as | cdownstairs,” Cecile answered softly.
Kayson nodded. Why did Stanley set eyes on Cecile? Was it because she was pretty? He did not know her otherwise.

'TH take you out to eat," Kayson said and glanced at Penta-sun Doyen. He had already told him about his
intention for him to protect Cecile on their way here.
Penta-sun Doyen agreed to it as well, so Kayson asked the former to get a room next to Cecile's. As for Hank, he
dismissed himself quietly when he saw Penta-sun Doyen.
Kayson took Cecile out for a meal and sent her back to the hotel before he went back home.
The night passed by peacefully.
The next morning, Jason called Kayson before he could do it.
Jason said with a smile, "Kayson, I've made the arrangement for the villa. | can send the key to you?”
'That’s fast, Uncle Jason. It’s fine. I'll cover,” Kayson replied in surprise.
"Hahaha, sure. I'll have Yvette cook up sdishes."
Kayson chuckled and ended the call to depart to the Queens’. The moment he closed the door, though, he
sensed Naomi.
As expected, he turned around to see Naomi coming out of the car and crying frantically, "Kayson, Chief Rivera is
back! Captain Wolke askedto inform you!"
Kayson asked, "Oh? Why didn't you callbut make a trip instead?"
Naomi grimly answered, "I dare not call you. Chief Rivera is badly injured. He was being pursued. We're afraid we
would expose his whereabouts by calling."
“Where's Chief Rivera now?” Kayson asked in seriousness.

“Somewhere no one knows. I'll take you there. Chief Rivera's injury... 'm unable to treat him."
Kayson nodded and got into the car. He texted Jason on the way there to let him know that he would not be heading over for the tbeing. He then put
away his phone and asked, "What's up with Chase? Was he conscious when you guys got to him?"
"Yes, but he passed out without another word.” Naomi took a deep breath and said briefly, "A few of Chief Rivera's tendons are broken. His internal
organs, bones, and muscles are all severely damaged.
“I used plenty of herbs, but they weren't very effective..."
This was the first tNaomi felt that her medical skills were not good enough. The difference between her and Kayson felt like heaven and earth.
Kayson furrowed his brows as he asked in puzzlement, "Chief Rivera isn't weak. Who could have injured him so badly?"
He did not want anything bad to happen to Chase. After all, he was only familiar with Chase out of the three vice chiefs of Admiralporium. He needed
Chase to link the bridge for him to meet the Admiralporium's chief too!
