Chapter 159 How About We Make a Deal?
Every time the man logged out of The Green Flamation forum, he would erase all browsing records.
Freya smirked. She couldn’t find anything on the dark web, but she had the phones the man used to contact his
comrades. If she still couldn’t find any hidden ID records in such a situation, she wouldn’t be worthy of staying in
The Green Flamation forum anymore.
“Jakob, was he alone?” Freya looked at Jakob, who nodded and answered, “He came alone, but I think there’s
another person outside waiting to assist him. I’ve already sent someone to find that person!”
The man lying on the ground snapped out of his shocked state and looked at Freya suspiciously. He gritted his teeth.
“Who are you?” When he and his brother took on this mission, they thought she was just an ordinary rich young
lady. They never expected their task to be so tricky!»
But now, this Freya woman not only knew about The Green Flamation forum but also easily found his IP address!
Freya gently caressed her belly and smiled as she sat on the hospital bed. “You must have done a thorough
investigation before taking on this mission. So why are you asking such a question now?”
She was a bit worried when she saw that Jakob had only brought one person with him. But now that she saw the
man’s ID, she knew everything was under control. The Octo Adelphos was quite famous in The -Green Flamation
forum. They were a pair of brothers with a deep bond, so once they captured one of
them, the other one would definitely come to rescue him.
At first, Freya wanted to reveal her identity as Green Scylla, the administrator of The Green Flamation forum.
However, Radley was still in the room, so she decided against it. After thinking for a moment, she instructed Jakob.
“Jakob, have someone strictly monitor the hospital’s surroundings. The other one will definitely come to save him.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe man lying on the ground gritted his teeth. “No one will come to save me. Getting my identity exposed after
taking on such a mission is already life–threatening enough. It’s every man for himself!”
But Freya chuckled lightly. “I believe he will come to save you. After all, he’s your brother!”
Looking at the man’s widened eyes, Freya gently caressed her slightly bulging belly. “Are you going to ask me again
how I found out about that? I know more than you think, so you won’t have a chance to escape. How about making
a deal with me instead?”
The man’s face turned dark for a few seconds.
Without looking at him, she continued, “You accepted Rosé Zero’s mission, and now everyone worldwide has heard
about my imminent death. I believe that as long as you cooperate, we can make Rose Zero believe that I’m really
dead. Then, she will pay you the remaining amount she promised. As for me, I just need to know some clues about
Rose Zero. The money will still be yours.”
“It’s impossible. If that’s the case, we-” The man gritted his teeth.
Freya smiled. “Are you worried about your reputation in the industry? Don’t worry, I have a way to handle it.”
“What can you do?” The man frowned.
Freya’s smile carried confidence and assurance, and the man was stunned for a moment but then remembered
one of The Green Flamation forum’s rules. Members were not allowed to harm the forum
administrators. In other words, they could not attack those in a higher position. Therefore, they could stop midway
if they mistakenly took on such a mission.
Apart from this rule, he could hardly think of any other rules that could help them avoid losing credibility in the
industry. The man stared at Freya intently. When he saw her smiling at him, he silently glanced at Jakob standing on
the side. Could this woman be one of the forum administrators? Even if she discovered that I’m from Octo
Adelphos, few knew we’re a pair of brothers.
“Since you have doubts, let’s wait until your brother arrives before continuing. After all, he will definitely come,
right?”
Freya looked at Jakob. “Jakob, take him to the ward next door and keep an eye on him until the person who comes
to save him arrives.”
After receiving his instructions, Jakob dragged the man and glanced at Radley. He felt uneasy about this man who
had bypassed all his surveillance and appeared in the ward without him noticing. “Miss Kaufmann, is there anyone
else who needs to be taken away?” Jakob stared at Radley. His intuition honed through life and death experiences
told him that this man was dangerous.
Freya glanced at Radley and saw him sitting there with a gentle and harmless smile. With clenched fists, she
denied, “No need!”
Afterward, Jakob left, and she kicked off her slippers before sitting back on the bed. “You couldn’t have climbed up
33 floors. Did you come from the 30th floor?” she asked coldly to prevent the thug from invading her room again!
Radley stood up. “I just wanted to see you. I can rest assured now that I know you’re safe.”
Freya sneered. “I’m actually less safe when you’re here.”
With that said, she looked a bit embarrassed. That was because Radley kissed her forcefully as soon as he entered
the room. She was about to lash out at him, but his heavy breathing and the rapid pulse she felt when she resisted
him told her that he was very excited. For some reason, she felt touched when she discovered that.
Maintaining her cold face, Freya demanded, “Now that you’ve visited me, can you leave?”
Radley took two steps forward, approaching the bed. Freya immediately shrunk back and looked at him warily.
“Radley, I will cripple you if you try anything! I have people on all 33 floors!”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAfter a chuckle, Radley bent down to grab the blanket at the end of the bed and covered Freya with it. “I
understand, Miss Kaufmann.”
Even though that was what Jakob had addressed her just now, for some reason, when it was Radley calling her
“Miss Kaufmann,” it sounded very ambiguous. She pretended not to understand his intention and urged him, “You
can leave now.”
“Since the assassin has been captured, you should be able to get discharged from the hospital soon, right?” Radley
asked a question instead of responding to her.
Freya frowned. “You’re overly concerned.”
“You’re Monaghan Group’s business partner, and many things in West Geft are still waiting to be dealt with. Also,
Grandma misses you a lot, and Brandon and his wife are very worried about you.” After Radley listed three reasons,
Freya felt like she was talking to a sly fox.
“I’ll probably need to stay here for another two or three days, Freya replied coldly. Suddenly, she spoke again.
“Radley, do you know who hired those assassins to kill me?”
Radley thought for a moment. “I found out on the dark web that there’s another group of people investigating you.
Could it be them?”
“Those people are not interested in my life.” She stared into his eyes. “Rose Zero is most probably Danna Delgado.”
Radley’s face turned cold, which annoyed Freya. It seemed that he still couldn’t forget about his first love. She
sneered. “Don’t you believe me?”
“It’s not that I don’t believe you. Since you’ve identified the person, why go through the trouble of luring the
assassins here?” While Radley rose to his feet, he added, “I’ll have Connor bring her here, and you’ll just have to
interrogate her to get the information you want.” Why take such a big risk?
Freya was taken aback. “Are you willing to let me interrogate Danna?”
“If you need to, of course.”
