Chapter 1451 Good Enough If The Cooperation Went On Smoothly
Although the photo the reporter took showed a woman standing by the helicopter's cabin door, Xander knew the
person behind this was Byron.
He thought the scandal that evening about the celebrities had ended this matter. The following morning, he wanted
to get some information from Rosalie by using the project as an excuse.
Unexpectedly, Rosalie's assistant told him Rosalie was not in the research institute.
It was the same answer for days.
Xander had realized the problem because it was simple.
Rosalie must have left with Byron!
He wanted to see when they would come back!
Unexpectedly, they took a week to return!
During that week, Xander's anger rose!

apology if it has affected the project. I understand why you’re angry, Young Master Xander.”
Then, she promised, "I promise I won't go missing again after the project begins. I'll be where you can find me,

Her apology had appeased Xander’s fury, and he did not question her about where she went with Byron or what
she did that week.
It did not matter to him at all.
It would not matter even if many things happened between Rosalie and Byron. Xander was confident of winning
Rosalie's heart as long as she was still around him.
He felt better with that in mind. His tone gradually calmed down, but there was still a hint of grievance in it. "You
made me go to the research institute so many times for nothing. Miss Jacobs, don't you think you should do
something to make up for me? Just an apology isn't sincere enough."
Rosalie noticed the change in his tone and was relieved. She smiled and said, "Of course. Young Master Xander,
when are you free? I'll buy you a meal."
Xander would, of course, accept it. "Sure, but I'll decide the time and venue. Miss Jacobs, be prepared to treat me
to an expensive meal."
The topic between them was more relaxed now, and Rosalie smiled. "Paying an expensive meal would be worth it if
it can appease your anger, Young Master Xander."
Xander seized the opportunity. "By the way, we have to discuss the project's progress. We intended to start the
project early when you weren't around, but we delayed it for quite some time because we wanted to wait for you."
Rosalie felt bad and apologized again.
"Anyways, it’s already delayed. What else can we do? It'd be nice if we can work things out after this. I still believe

Xander quickly ended the topic.
They exchanged a few words of pleasantries and hung up.
Rosalie turned around and looked at Linda as she said," You're right. Young Master Xander was indeed angry, but it's
my fault. Have the other projects in the research institute been delayed as well?"
Linda shook her head. "Everything is fine."
Then, she looked at Rosalie and asked cautiously, "Dr.
Jacobs, about the news two days ago, should I..."
Before she could finish her words, Rosalie knew what she was about to ask. She explained, "Don't believe what's on
the internet. The Lancer family is an important business partner to us. Just treat Young Master Xander like usual."
After fetting a clear response, Linda nodded.
After a while, Xander texted Rosalie the time and venue of the meal.
Rosalie glanced at the message and left the research institute after instructing Linda about some work-related
matters.
