Chapter 356
Cynthia recalled Ellora’s previous mention of divorce and said, “If you really want to see
her, wait a few more months. She’ll contact you.”
Under normal circumstances, the husband could not initiate a divorce during pregnancy,
but the wife could. Ellora would have a solid case for filing for divorce since Chyler
pressured Ellora to have an abortion.
However, Chyler had not even considered the possibility of divorce and only replied to
Cynthia with a question, “Is she willing
to see me!
“She needs some time to consider and calm down.” Cynthia did not answer him directly.
Hearing this, Chyler automatically interpreted it as what he had done previously had
caused a significant emotional impact on her, and she did not want to contact him for the
time being.
With that thought, he felt slightly relieved.
He was willing to wait as long as Ellora was willing to see him.
“Take good care of her during this time. If she needs anything, you can let me know.”

“There’s nothing.” Cynthia said, pushing him away before walking off.
If she could, she wanted to say, ‘My only request is for you not to disturb Ellora’s life.”
However, she knew that if she said that, Chyler might start an argument right then and
there.
Dealing with Joshua was exhausting enough, and she did not want to deal with another
person.
Chyler watched Cynthia leave, and once her figure disappeared down the hallway, he took
out his phone and looked at his WhatsApp chat with Ellora
Every message he had sent during this period had a red exclamation mark next to it.
He did not know how he and Ellora had ended up in this situation.
After all, it had not been this terrible before.
After Cynthia left, she went to the second-floor restroom of the hotel. She had thought it
through and decided it was unnecessary to return to Jiverton, even if it was for Old Man
Neal’s sake.
Instead, she would try to communicate with him online as much as possible.
She and Joshua were already divorced.
In terms of their relationship, she no longer had a connection to Joshua’s family after their
divorce.
Thinking about these things, Cynthia sighed and washed her hands at the basin. After
trying several automatic sensor faucets that did not produce any water, she switched to
the nearby manual one.
However, what she never expected was that as soon as she touched the switch, a
powerful jet of water erupted, drenching her from head to tor. She would have been
completely soaked if she had not moved quickly.
Cynthia looked at the faucet with a strong water flow and informed the hotel staff about
the issue.
“I’m very sorry for the inconvenience caused,” the hotel staff immediately arranged for
someone to fix the problem and apologized to her.
Cynthia assured them that it was alright, and the staff led her to a room to dry her hair.
Seeing that her clothes were slightly wet, they even brought her a brand-new set of
clothes and asked if she needed assistance in drying hers.

coat and handed it to the staff. After the staff left, Cynthia’s seemingly indifferent eyes
suddenly darkened.

Faucets in high-end hotels would not randomly malfunction, especially on the day of a
banquet.
The only explanation was that someone did it intentionally.
As Cynthia pondered over this, a faint fragrance suddenly wafted into her nostrils, enticing
her to take a few more sniffs to determine its origin. Cynthia searched for the source of
the scent within the suite. Before she could find it, the half-closed door was pushed open,
and Joshua’s figure appeared at the doorway.
Upon seeing him, Cynthia involuntarily frowned.
Joshua walked over, his gaze not showing much difference from the usual, and asked,
“Where were you injured?”
Cynthia was puzzled
Injured?
