Chapter 631
“Can’t you covertly help her rise to the top? As for her dreams, they don’t conflict with
making money.” Joshua did not feel like talking to him anymore.
Chyler clenched his fists. If it were not for Joshua making sense, he would have given him
a good scolding for acting so smug.
“You talk as if you’re a genius. Have you forgotten about your divorce with Cynthia over
Jayleen?” With a plan in hand, Chyler did not care about offending Joshua anymore.
“So?” Joshua asked nonchalantly.
“Who was it that regretted so much it was pathetic?” Chyler scoffed.
Watching Chyler’s smug expression, Joshua replied calmly, “You better watch your tone
when speaking to me. If I get annoyed, I might just reveal your upcoming plans to Ellora.

Chyler sighed in exasperation.
“Moreover, I did regret it, but Cynthia has already forgiven me and even let me move into
her house.” Joshua felt this was his most triumphant moment yet.
“Impossible!” Chyler blurted out.
Although he did not know Cynthia well, he was sure of one thing. She would never look
back once she had been wronged. How could she let Joshua live with her? This was even
harder to believe than if Ellora were to forgive him.
Joshua watched him, pleased with his reaction. He then pulled out his phone, no longer
concerned about hiding anything. He clicked on a photo and passed it over. “See for
yourself.”
Chyler took the phone, looking at a picture probably taken by Cynthia during a busy
moment. His brows furrowed at once. The house’s layout was clearly not Joshua’s, and
there was no way it was an old photo. However, how could Cynthia allow Joshua to move
in? This made no sense at all.
“Should you still doubt it, I could call her,” proposed Joshua.
Chyler was defiant. “Go ahead.”
Without skipping a beat, Joshua cast him a glance before dialing Cynthia’s number. At that
moment, Cynthia was enjoying some leisure time with Matthew, Shirley, and her
boyfriend. When she noticed Joshua’s incoming call, she informed her companions, then
slid to answer. “Hello?”
Chyler was taken aback. Her response was cordial. Where was the expected indifference

“Cynthia, Chyler doesn’t believe I’m staying with you. He insisted I call you,” said Joshua,
a master at stirring up trouble.
Caught off guard, Cynthia was silent. Her response could easily fuel speculations of a
possible remarriage if she confirmed Joshua’s claim. Denying it, however, might incite a
distorted reaction from Joshua,
At this point, Chyler was completely perplexed. Joshua had called her by name, and there
was no rebuke, no frigid remarks. from Cynthia Something was definitely off.
“Moun,” Cynthia replied nonchalantly.
“What are you doing now?” asked Joshua.
“Shopping with Shirley and the others.”
“Enjoy your time, I won’t disturb you any further.”
“Mmm.” And with that, the call ended.
