more than a few degrees. "Then, is it that you think I'm a dull-witted Maverick? That | haven't considered all the dangers that you

are thinking about?"

Mr. Hampson clenched his jaw, realizing that, having been by Damien's side for many years, Damien was on the brink of exploding,

even if, outwardly, he looked almost placid but for his eyes.
