Adam raised his eyebrows. “Her grandma is sick?”
Arty replied, “That’s what she said.”
Adam knew that Catherine and Maria were friends and that he and Lumma got marrie for them. He didn’t think
Maria would lie about her grandmother even though she wa
inconstant.
He said, “Transfer a sum of money to her and tell her to treat her grandma with peace mind. We can wait for her
grandma to get better before we divorce.
