Gloria lifted her gaze abruptly to stare at Harvey. "What are you trying to say? Are you trying to tell me that Tyler
wouldn’t have fallen in love with me even if he ended up finding me instead of Vicky back then?" 2
"Yes," Harvey uttered slowly, his words like sharp blades cutting into her heart. "Even if he found you, he would've
never fallen in love with you. Besides, it was actually Vicky whom he was looking for... Gloria, he found the right
person, and Vicky never tried to impersonate you."
Gloria was stunned for a few moments, but she soon started cackling. Her often-soft voice sounded extremely
sharp and unpleasant.
"Fine. None of you would believe me. You all think that I'm lying. But that would mean that either Tyler or your lover,
Vicky, are lying about it as well, right? Or are you going to say that the necklace I happened upon isn't Tyler at all?"

Gloria paused. "What do you mean?"
"Recently, I dug into what happened back then. The reason why all this happened is that Vicky went to the same
garden to practice the same song before her performance that
night. She appeared in the garden before you did. Tyler's men located her after that...so she was under the
impression that Tyler had been looking for her.".xo
Gloria clenched her fists. "What about the necklace I found, then? Was it a fake one? Was it not Tyler's?"
"It's true that you found a necklace that belonged to Tyler, but since Vicky appeared in the garden before you did,
how would you know if Tyler dropped the necklace when he was listening to you play, or when he was listening to
Vicky play? When you saw the necklace, I suppose you tried searching for the owner, right? Did you see anyone in
the garden at the time?"
Gloria was rendered speechless.
She had indeed searched around for the owner of the necklace, but the garden was empty at the time.

Gloria interrupted him hysterically. "Why doesn't that matter? If he didn't see me or look for me, he would've never
gotten to know Vicky! Without me, they would've never ended up together!"
Harvey stared at her with a dark look in his eyes, wondering how the young woman who once saved his life had
become such a stranger.
After a long silence, he decided to tell her the truth.

Gloria froze, as she distinctively remembered saving a woman back then.

Gloria remained dazed for a long while before muttering while sobbing, "If the person Tyler was looking for wasn't
me, why...would Vicky and Tyler admit to it? Were they toying with me?"
Harvey shook his head. "It's because you happened upon Tyler’s possession and became extremely certain that he
was looking for you. You were so determined about it that Vicky started having doubts as well. Since Vicky admitted
that Tyler was looking for you, it's understandable that Tyler would be misled as well. Most importantly..."
