Diana does to me."

Julian heard the sounds of movements above him, and breathed a sigh of relief. Fearing Diana would notice him
below on the balcony, he immediately returned to the room.
"Sir," Noel said as he followed behind Julian like a shadow. "Would you consider...pursuing madam again?"
As the saying goes, a fair maiden was worth a gentleman's pursuit.
Why could Oliver pursue Diana, but Julian couldn’t?
Julian seemed completely stumped by the question.
