111. Princess of the south region
“Dominic, are you sure it’s the right thing to do now?” Nathan asked in a worried tone while standing in front of Dominic to stop
him from moving. Dominic frowned at him for stopping him like this as he didn’t like to be interrupted ever and as his beta,
Dominic expected Nathan to know that.
“You do realise that you offended me, don’t you, Nathan?” Dominic asked in a cold tone which made Nathan step back
immediately. Dominic didn’t even use his alpha tone but he was already intimidated.
“I am sorry, alpha.” Nathan apologised while looking at Justin for a second to signal him to take the matter in hand. Justin looked
back at Nathan with widened eyes before gulping down a little. He let out a sigh and turned to look at Dominic after realising that
he didn’t have any options
“We mean, you have just returned back, we don’t think it’s going to be a smart move. We think it might be a rushed step.
Because even though we tried our best to keep the news away from everyone outside the pack, words go around inside the
pack. Everyone present in the pack knows about this incident.” Justin explained in a calm and collected way.
He tried his best even though it was so much out of his character. Usually Nathan does this type of thing but as he has
all.
“We don’t have time to move according to the plan anymore, guys. We need to move according to the time now and we don’t
have any time.” Dominic said in his usual cold tone but managed to tone down the ruthlessness a little.
“We understand but..” Nathan tried to speak again but Dominic cut him off once again.
“There is no scope for but. We already got a reply from the South region leader! And you said Athena doubted that Stacey might
not share any relation with the south region. Do you know what that means?” He asked in a harsh and frustrated tone. He was
frustrated because he realised how much time he lost in this one week Everything he planned got hampered because of the
coma. He didn’t want to waste any more time on this.
Dominic decided something after hearing the conclusion Athena had come to.
Go and meet ‘the princess of the South region’, Stacey!
As Athena realised that Stacey might not be the Princess and she might share some connection with the south region, things
might get more complicated if Athena decides to solve the issue herself, without talking to him. Also, if someone else from the
pack doubts the same, it’s going to be disastrous. So, he is going to talk to Stacey and solve it before anyone could get an idea
of it.
“Okay, you are right. We should handle it as soon as possible before the south region leader takes action for the things that’s
dragging him into all these.” Nathan spoke up with a thoughtful look on his face as that made more sense. Justin also nodded at
him before looking at Dominic.
“We trust you, Dominic. We know you will handle the matter no matter how unprepared we are, Go and do what you need to do.
We will handle it here.” Justin said with a serious expression on his face. Dominic nodded at them before looking at the closed
door of the cell.
“Open it.” Dominic ordered the guard who had been standing there like a robot.
They didn’t worry about him hearing things and creating problems for them. Such guards can’t do much other than spread gossip
and this guard being the holder of keys of the cells, knows he is going to die the moment he takes a wrong step. So, he won’t
even dare to do anything such,
“Sure, alpha.” The guard replied in a monotonous tone before quickly opening the door and stepping aside to let Dominic get
inside.
Dominic walked inside while Nathan and Justin stood there without following him inside. Giving him one last look, they turned
around to walk away. They truly trusted Dominic with it and they knew that he would handle everything
Dominic kept walking straight until he reached the end of the corridor. There were two cells at the end. One at his right and one
at his left. He turned to face the right cell and the guard who followed him inside immediately went to unlock the door.
Without any second thought, Dominic got inside the room with a monotonous yet dark look on his face.
“So, you finally woke up from the coma. Is it because of the letter my father sent which hints at the must war?”
Stacey’s taunting tone made Dominic smirk.
It’s going to be fun...
