“She must be the one stirring things up. Berlin, you can’t fall for her tricks.”
Berlin finished his cigarette, but he was still skeptical about Laura.
Laura stated, “I will find out the truth about this and present the evidence to you. If I, Laura, have harmed you, I will
die miserably, I swear on my life.”
Berlin replied, “I have indeed been careless about this. I always found that girl suspicious. If she really wants to
avenge her father, it’s not surprising that she would set up such a scheme to make us destroy each other.”
Laura responded, “As long as you understand.”
But Berlin was more worried. If indeed that girl was back for revenge, things would get even more complicated.
Her identity was special, she was now Ryder’s fiancée.
