Luis, however, wasn't so happy. He didn't enjoy the crowd, to begin with, and Benny kept chattering by his side. That really annoyed him.
The other boys at the stable were also noisy. They got high and suggested drinking rounds.
Benny picked up a glass of beer. "Luis, I'll toast you. Con, bottom up!" Luis looked at her coldly. "I don't drink." "Con, for the sake of our friendship." Luis picked up his juice and clinked glasses with her. "Cheers." With that, he raised his head and had a sip.
Benny was not offended. She knew that Luis rarely clinked glasses with others.
