Chapter 154 Offer Kisses
On the other side, after Evelyn and Huston left the police station, they went straight back to the Royal
Villa. Along the way, neither of them spokes, and the atmosphere was a little depressing.
It wasn’t easy for them to enter the house, but before Evelyn could even breathe a sigh of relief, Huston
suddenly pressed her against the door. There was only one sensor lamp at the entrance. The two of
them quieted down, and the light above. their heads quickly disappeared.
The moonlight came in through the window, and the clock on the wall had reached 8:30.
“Didn’t you say that you were going shopping with Grace? Why are you with Jerry, huh?” He pinched
her chin hard.
Fearing that he might misunderstand, Evelyn immediately explained, “We bumped into each other
while eating. Later on, Grace stood up for me, so she fought with Maura. I was afraid. that she would
suffer, so I attacked her as well!”
The last three words were barely audible under the man’s stern and oppressive gaze.
Huston’s expression did not soften because of her explanation. His gaze landed on a nail mark on her
lower jaw that was not very obvious but very eye–catching. He moved his thumb over

Huston did not let go. “How many times have I told you not to have too much contact with Jerry? Why
didn’t you listen to me?”
“I told you it was just a coincidence. I didn’t know they would be there!” Moreover, what happened next
was completely out of Evelyn’s control. What could she do?
The more Evelyn thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt. “You only know how to yell at me. I
didn’t want!”
“Since you don’t want to, you should know how to avoid it.”
“Okay! It’s my fault. Okay?”
Huston stared at her angry face without saying a word. There was a measuring look in his eyes, which
made her feel suffocated.
What kind of look was that?
Didn’t he believe her?
Evelyn didn’t know what was wrong with her, but she stood on tiptoe, suddenly hooked her arms
around the man’s neck, pulled his head down with all her strength, closed her eyes, and kissed him
wildly.
Huston’s body stillened for a moment, but he quickly took the initiative to accept the kiss.
The quiet living room was filled with the sounds of them kissing each other. Evelyn had been kissed so
hard that she could barely breathe several times. It was only a second before she suffocated that
Huston let go of her.
Evelyn was panting so hard that he was no better than her. I lis breathing was a mess.
Seeing her flushed face, the man said in a low voice, “How many times have you kissed me, but your
kissing skills are still so bad?”
His words made Evelyn blush, and her heart beat faster. She bypassed him and wanted to go upstairs.
However, as soon as she took a step forward, she was grabbed by the wrist. “Do you think you can
coax me with a kiss?”
It was typical of her to pretend to be obedient when she made a mistake. If she could get away with it
this time, she would definitely do it again.

“Then why did you kiss me?” Didn’t she just want to please him?
Evelyn imitated him and narrowed her eyes. “I just want to thank you for picking me up from the police
station.”
In fact, he didn’t know how touched Evelyn was when she stood
there feeling wronged and saw him walking towards her, pulling her into his arms. If it weren’t for Jerry
and Maura being present, Evelyn felt that she might have cried.
Huston didn’t say anything and waited for her to finish.
She took a deep breath, lowered her head slightly, and looked at the buttons on his shirt. “It’s been a
long time since someone took me home, so thank you.”
What she longed for; the most unimportant things were the most touching.
Huston’s anger had been suppressed a little, but his face was still cold. “Don’t ignore my calls. I’m very
worried that I can’t find you. I’m worried when I see that you’re at the police station, especially when
you’re standing with Jerry.”
“Are you worried too?” asked Evelyn subconsciously.
Huston pursed his lips and said, “No, I’m very unhappy.”
