Chapter 136 Her Father’s Case
Days passed. In the blink of an eye, it was time for John to go to court. Charlie took Evelyn to meet
Nick in private again.
That familiar but strange feeling once again surrounded Evelyn. After leaving the company, she
explained to Huston and went straight back to the Hub Apartment.
She hadn’t been home for a long time. When they learned that she was coming back, Lucy and Ben
made a table full of dishes, which were all her favorites.
