The two of them brought fruit plates and drinks into the private room. Someone was singing inside, the
lights were flashing, and it was deafeningly loud

As Estelle poured the drinks, she saw Nicolas sitting on the sofa across from her, with the girl in the

Estelle had already opened all the drinks, so she couldn’t stay in the private room any longer. She
turned to leave with the other server.
At nine–thirty, the guests in room 6616 left, and Estelle returned to the eighth floor.
Melody looked a bit surprised, and awkwardly laughed, “That was quick.”
“Yep, the guests left already,” Estelle replied indifferently.
Melody felt slightly disappointed but kept smiling, “Thank you Estelle, let’s go out for dinner after work,
my treat!”
“No need, I have something to do after work,” Estelle politely declined, then headed to the break room.
The eighth floor was busy, and no one was in the break room. Estelle thought for a moment, took out
her phone, and called Isis, “Hey, can you ask in your senior group chat where Nicolas works?”
Isis was startled, “Girl, we haven’t seen each other in almost a month, and you’re more interested in
asking about a guy than catching up with me? Seriously?”
Estelle laughed, “Hurry up, stop beating around the bush!”

Isis heard her answer was definitive and didn’t tease her further, “Okay, I’ll ask now, and I’ll call you
back later.”
“Alright!”
After hanging up, Estelle sat on the table, took out her book and read for less than ten minutes before
Isis texted her, revealing Nicolas‘ work company’s name, which was a jewelry company.
Isis called again soon after, “Did you see the message I sent? People in the group said Nicolas is doing
pretty well, he’s been working for less than two months, showed outstanding performance, and has
already been promoted to the sales department.”
Estelle now had a clear picture, “Okay, got it.”
The two chatted for a while, and after hanging up, Estelle contacted Blue Hawk, “Help me look up who
