Chapter 172
The study got darker and darker, and other sensations became clearer. Estelle was turned around by
the man, who held her waist and immediately bent down to kiss her against the bookshelf.
Seeing her being so well–behaved in front of his family just now, he couldn’t help but want to tease her.
Probably because he had seen her wild side and that fascinates him the most.
Estelle tilted her head slightly, her whole body enveloped in the man’s shadow, and all her senses were
taken over by him.
His kiss started heavy and gradually became gentler, consuming her bit by bit.
Estelle’s heart raced, probably because of the unique environment, and she could hear some faint
whispers from outside the room which gave her a sense of excitement mixed with the pleasure and
anxiety.
Estelle opened her eyes slightly and saw the man’s closed eyes and handsome side face. His
eyelashes were thick, his nose straight, every part of him exquisitely beautiful.

eyes seemed as dense as the endless night, staring at Estelle.
The two stared at each other, as if they were in a tug of war, and neither would let go first.
After a long while, the man’s breath became heavier, holding her waist tightly and continuing to kiss her
like he was punishing her. Estelle couldn’t help but shudder, not daring to respond, her hands against
his tense chest, and whispered, “I have to go out later.” She didn’t have makeup on, so she wasn’t
afraid of her makeup getting ruined, but her lips might swell up, and that would be noticeable. Jonathan
kissed down her side face, his voice hoarse, “let’s go to my room?”
Estelle asked, “Do you want your family to think I’m sleeping with you to get this job?”
Jonathan buried his head in her neck, his chest pounding, laughing softly, “They probably won’t think
that, but they might think you’re using this job to get me.”
Estelle couldn’t help but laugh and said, “So you want to get me fired?”
“It’s fine with me,” Jonathan said seriously, “That way, you won’t have anything to hesitate about.”
Estelle frowned, “But I’ll lose my job.”
“I’ll support you!” Jonathan blurted out.
Estelle was stunned. Jonathan’s action of lightly kissing her earlobe stopped too, as if he had thought
of something, and the two fell silent.
After a while, Estelle slowly spoke, “did you just say you want to pay me to be your mistress as a job?”
Jonathan narrowed his eyes, hid all his emotions, and said with a light smile, “What’s the difference
now? Do you have a grudge against money?”
Estelle leaned against the bookshelf, her back slightly pained by the books and wooden frames, she
looked up, her eyes in the dim light were calm and warm, and she smiled softly, “Of course there is a
difference. If I take your money, will I lose my freedom? What if I find someone I like? I still want to
pursue love!”
Jonathan looked down at her. His thumb slowly caressed her face, his lips smiling but his voice plain,
“You, little girl, are thinking too much. You want love? What is love, do you even know? Have you ever
been in a relationship?”
“Not yet.” Estelle shook her head regretfully.

Jonathan’s eyes deepened, “was I your first man?”
Estelle was stunned, suddenly remembering the night she first met Jonathan. She looked up at him
and asked softly, “Do you want to know?”
“Are you gonna tell me?” Jonathan unconsciously lowered his tone, wanting to know but instinctively
resisting it.
As Estelle was about to open her mouth, there was a knock on the door, “Estelle, are you in there?”
Estelle was startled. Norah had come to find her.
Outside the door, Norah’s mumbling sounded again, “how’s the door locked?
Jonathan’s expression was unchanged, whispering, “Don’t worry, she can’t get in.”
Only then did Estelle realize that Jonathan had locked the door when he came in. But what should she
do if Norah couldn’t find her? How should they get out?
Norah knocked on the door again, “Estelle?”
Jonathan suddenly turned around and spoke softly, “It’s me, she’s not in here.”
