Mu Zhi was stunned with her eyes fixed on Zhu Sha. It wasn’t until Zhu Sha’s hostile gaze met her
eyes when Mu Zhi turned her eyes away.
Next to them, the hospital representative burst into a fit of laughter after Zhu Sha introduced herself.

The hospital representative made a very, very lame joke.
Mu Zhi did not go along with the joke, while Zhu Sha chuckled lightly, and said, “What witty brain you
have.”
Following that, Mu Zhi was brought to complete the admitting procedure. Upon finishing with the
procedure, Mu Zhi heaved a sigh of relief. She was mentally and physically drained. It was dusk. Mu
Zhi slowly headed out of the reception area, preparing to set off to the canteen for dinner.
She ended up running into Zhu Sha once again.
Zhu Sha looked at Mu Zhi, and put up an inviting smile, “Miss Mu Zhi, I trust you haven’t found a place
to stay since you’re in a rush. My house is just nearby, you can crash at my place. It’s convenient for
you to make your way to the hospital too.”
“I don’t think that’s necessary. Thank you for your offer, Dr. Zhu Sha.”
Mu Zhi understood that some people might be more zealous than others. In this instance, Zhu Sha’s
smile was warm and gentle. But she could sense that the woman was not that simple from the first time
they locked eyes.

mistake me. I didn’t mean to be nosy. I just find you pretty, so you should have a partner.”
After finishing her words, Mu Zhi had not managed to address Zhu Sha’s query before Zhu Sha’s
phone went off. She answered the phone with a welcoming attitude, greeting the caller as ‘madam’.
“Madam, sure, got it. Don’t worry, I’ll be careful with our relationship.”
“Alright, goodbye, madam.”
The zealous attitude combined with her expression told Mu Zhi that the call might have come from the
mother of Zhu Sha’s partner.
Mu Zhi used to rock that upright attitude.

After hanging up the call, Zhu Sha apologized to Mu Zhi, and then said casually, “Let’s go get dinner.”
Mu Zhi followed behind Zhu Sha into the canteen.

showed up and questioned her apathetically, “What are you doing here?”
The voice belonged to Lu Junnian.

Finally, Zhu Sha showed up. She welcomed Lu Junnian zealously as soon as she saw him, saying in
an uncomfortably coquettish tone, “What are you doing here? Are you worried that I’d be too bored
over the night shift, so you’re here to keep me accompanied?”
“I knew it, you’re such a considerate man. You’re only cold on the surface.”
Lu Junnian appeared to insist on keeping a safe distance between him and Zhu Sha, despite trying to
not make it obvious.
Mu Zhi espied the distance between the two. She wondered to herself that any other woman wouldn’t
be this close to Lu Junnian.
She did not waste another second. Seizing the opportunity, she fled the hospital, found a hotel, and
checked into it. Upon settling down, she hurriedly made a call to Liang Yunzhan to ask about Mu
Xiaomu.
It was dawn in City A. Meanwhile, Lu Jinye had spent the night drinking with Liang Yunzhan, having no
intention to leave whatsoever. He dragged Liang Yunzhan along, saying, “Brother, let’s go have some
fun in the garden, come on.”
