She suddenly reached out, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“lan.”
lan was still standing outside the car, unexpectedly embraced, and his heart softened.
“Maja, you’ve become much clingier since I returned.”

He cupped her face, gazing at her for a minute before bending down to plant a tender kiss on her lips.
“Maja, I’m just trying to trust you.”
His words left Maja frozen.
He kissed her lips again.
“When I hold you close, every cell in my body feels at ease. Now that we’re together, I should trust you, right? I
don’t want any more mishaps.” He closed the car door, his eyes suddenly deep and intense.
“I don’t care whether you’ve seen your first love or not. From the moment you said you liked me, you must draw a
line with him! I overlooked the last incident, but you’re not allowed to lie to me anymore.”
Maja was practically at a loss for words.
Closing the car door, lan moved to the driver’s seat and drove towards Greenfield Gardens.
It was already five in the morning, and they would have to get up in an hour.

Judith was slightly puzzled. It was already nine, and lan, a workaholic, hadn’t yet arrived at the office.
As she was about to inquire, she saw a man walking through the revolving glass door. It was lan.
Dressed in a gray suit, lan was conversing with Jeff beside him.
Judith’s eyes brightened, and just as she was about to approach, she saw another person walking in from the main
door, Maja.
Maja had originally planned to go to her own company, but lan had insisted on bringing her here first.
lan should have been the one to drop her off at her company, but he had a mind of his own, clinging to her since
breakfast, asking her to drop him off at the Raymond Corporation.
In the morning at Greenfield Gardens, she had held a brief online meeting, unable to resist his persistent requests.
“But it will be past eight once my meeting ends, you’ll be late for the office.”
“It’s fine, I’ll wait for you.”
lan seemed satisfied, sitting beside her without further interruption.
Maja was a mix of sweetness and helplessness, and the man was indeed quite clingy.
She had caught up with him now, as he had accidentally left his documents in her car.
She had followed him all the way to the lobby on the first floor before calling out to him.

lan paused, his eyes instantly lighting up. Without considering the surrounding gazes, he pulled her into his arms.
“Planning to work overtime at the Raymond Corporation?”
Mája found it funny, “You left your documents.”
The smile on his face vanished, replaced by an air of sophistication.
“Oh.”
Maja felt many eyes on them, and not far away stood Judith, her gaze dark and resentful, as if she wanted to tear
Maja apart.

Maja ignored Judith’s gaze, giving lan a warm smile.
“I have to go to my office now.”
“Maja.”
He called out to her, pointing to his lips with his slender finger.
Jeff watched in disbelief from the side. He finally realized how the CEO behaved when he was in love!
Indeed, there was no difference from a young boy!
And Maja, usually so reserved, was indulging him, tiptoeing to give him a peck on the lips…

“Dinner together tonight?”
“I might be busy at the company.”
“Then come back to Greenfield Gardens tonight.”
“Okay.”
As Maja turned to leave, she saw that Judith was no longer there, and the receptionist was whispering with
someone, probably speculating about her relationship with lan.
With the way she and lan behaved in such a public place, the entire company would soon know that he had a
