“No, sir.
I have an idea.” After taking a deep breath, Gatlin added,
“I know a way to stop the hacker.
Just givea chance, director.”
Enraged, the veins on Theo’s forehead started bulging.
“Do you really want to die on this hill? What if you fail? You’re just an intern for crying out loud! Let go ofbefore I teach you a lesson! I won’t go easy on you just because you’re new here!”
“Please, director.
I’m begging you.
Just givea chance.”

Nobody in that room wanted to let two years of hard work go to waste.
One of the staff said,
“Director, I know we don’t have much time.
But I think it’s worth giving a shot.
Maybe he can make it.”
“If the intern fails, who’s willing to take responsibility for his actions?” Theo asked with a menacing glare.
The man immediately kept his mouth shut.
Seeing everyone’s reluctance to stick their neck out was absolutely debilitating for Gatlin.
That said, he still wasn’t willing to give up.
For the longest time, he dreamed of working in such an esteemed laboratory.
After putting in the hard work, he was lucky enough to get hired as an intern.
A little while after getting accepted, he realized that his dream was still far from reality.
Despite his good grades in school and meticulous work ethic, no one in the Laboratory took him seriously.
He was done being a loser.
It was finally his chance to show what he was made of, and he wasn’t planning on wasting it.
After hardening his resolve, Gatlin used all his strength to shove
Theo away.
Knowing there was no tto waste, Gatlin bent down and started typing on the keyboard to reverse the disconnection process.
Theo was caught off-guard and knocked down a computer.

Salazar hears about what you’ve done, you’ll be in a heaping pile of trouble! I’ll ask him to give you the harshest punishment! And I’ll make sure you never work for a laboratory ever again!” Theo’s face turned ghastly pale.
Gatlin paid no attention to him and continued typing on the keyboard.
“What are you all waiting for? Stop him right now!” Theo’s roars brought everyone back to their senses.
A few of the staff members who stood up for Gatlin earlier were now on their way to stop him.
Just as they were about to put their hands on Gatlin and drag him away, they checked his work.
Their jaws dropped when they saw the amount of coding on the screen.
A few seconds later, the alarm finally stopped.
“I can’t believe it… Director! All traces of the hacker have disappeared!” someone exclaimed.
“Huh?” Theo muttered.
“What did you say just now?”
“It’s true, director! It seems like Gatlin managed to stop the cyber
