“I think, I won this bet,” Hunter smirked at Lilac, who looked at him sullenly.

The two of them were sitting on the long dining table with the other alphas and lunas from the other pack, while music and the sound of people’s laughter filled the air.

People danced and interacted with each other, men and women teased and laughed loudly. This festivity was very lively, but you couldn't see the mother and the baby anywhere.

Aiden just cand told them the baby had fallen asleep and his mate had retreated to their bedroom to accompany their first son.

Probably she would return late at night when the festivity reached its peak.

Just half an hour ago, Aiden approached them and said he couldn't find his mother, hence he couldn't give the necklace to them, he also said that he had prepared a room for them, just in case he couldn't find his mother and they had to stay overnight here.

Hunter said nothing, he simply smirked at the way Aiden tried to cup with his ridiculous story about couldn't find his mother. There was no way something like that could happen.

“Hunter, | can’t dance.” Lilac was mortified. Among all the lessons she got from luna Jasmine, dancing was not her greatest strength. Her body always felt very stiff and her movement was no different from a log of wood.

Lilac looked so pretty in her dress and the light fell on her red face, which made her look very adorable.

“Put your feet on mine,” Hunter said, he pulled Lilac so close to him until their body pressed together and she felt his hardness on her belly, which made Lilac glared at him, but the wicked alpha only grinned innocently.

Lilac did what she was told and put her feet on his, as he moved around the dance floor, leaving all the hard work on him. His arm that wrapped around her waist was very steady and strong, it was a comfort.

When they were still together, Lilac always smiled at him shyly, but the smile she showed tonight was one of pure bliss and happiness, which made Aiden’s blood boiled.

More so when he saw how her eyes sparkled, filling with so much love with someone else. Love to another man! How she could do that to him? How she could move so fast? How she could dump everything without a second thought and let him stuck with someone like Ruby?
