Trevor veered closer to Holger before he averted his eyes towards the brocade box on the table, "It doesn't matter. She despisesanyway, so it can't possibly get any worse than this!" "Haha..." Holger chuckled before he restrained his expressions and continued speaking.

"Trevor, hiding won't solve this problem! Ignoring the truth that you've been suppressing in your heart will only make things worse! Who knows, it might even backfire on yourself. You should know this better than I do..." For the first time, he saw a depressed Trevor who was head over heels for a woman. Since when did Victoria sneak into his heart? Moreover, since when did Trevor catch feelings for her?! "Does Trevor not realize that he's been acting weird ever since he ran into her?" Holger pondered.

If it wasn't for the last business trip and the recent incident, maybe he wouldn't have made such an impetuous decision on agreeing to this marriage. "Holger..." As soon as Holger spoke again, an obvious frown appeared on Trevor's face. A clear sense of entanglement was evident at the bottom of his eyes.

"Trevor, have you been truly happy for the past few years? Despite the fact that you've chosen to remain unmarried for the rest of your life, yet you were still blindly attracted to Miss Atlas!" With a message sown in his words, Holger averted his eyes towards him, "Whether he likes it or not, Trevor has to be responsible for his own flesh and blood!" Otherwise, the outcwould be gruesome! At this moment, Trevor had no other choice than to restrain his own desires! "No one could rub salt on the wound more than you do!" Holger constantly brought up issues that shouldn't be mentioned. Once he was done speaking, he slowly stepped out of the office with the documents in his hand.

As soon as the door closed, Trevor's eyes once again fell upon the brocade box that he held in his hands. In the box was a delicate diamond necklace. Below its platinum chain laid three inverted tulips that were embedded with pink diamonds.

As he looked at the necklace, flashbacks of the room filled with tulips surged through his mind. At that moment, he presumed that Victoria adored pink tulips very much! He was determined to obtain this necklace the minute he saw it in the auction! Previously, he actually wanted to surprise her with this necklace as a gift...

It was a shthat the day ended with a feud between the both of them. At that point, he completely forgot about his initial intention of giving her the necklace.

Never in his entire life was he this affectionate towards a woman.

The diamond necklace cost eighty million dollars! Yet, it was a gift to Victoria who wasn't even his girlfriend...

Trevor subconsciously caressed the necklace as a wave of confusion flashed across his eyes again. For the first time, he was completely captivated by a woman's charm! In the office, he was inexplicably gloomy for the rest of the day.

As the night fell, he received a call from Willy, "East Bannpool?" He wasn't interested at all! Before he could say anything, he suddenly heard a tease from the other end.

"What's with the attitude? You don't sound like the Master Trevor that I know at all! Don't tellthat you're too occupied even for a drink! These gossip were mostly heard from his precious little sister. She would call him and chat with him for more than half an hour. Moreover, she also wanted him to bring her to the Heaven Star Clubhouse for sfun! Surprisingly, his little sister was a bold lady; she wasn't afraid of anything at all! However, there was one particular person in the Clements family whom she feared the most, and that was Frederick! Therefore, both Caroline and Hallie were pampered since young as they were the only girls in the family! Frederick, who was once distant from his uncle, had recently opened up to him for his own reasons.

Caroline, on the other hand, was mischievous as a child. Once upon a time, she was frightened to tears by Frederick's roar and his cold-blooded expression when she threw a tantrum with the puppy in her arms. She even stood under the tree for an hour as a punishment for her behavior. It was probably summer at that tas there were many insects around the tree. Unknowingly, a caterpillar had crawled onto her body and she was petrified to the point where she continuously wailed for the entire day.

Since then, she was terrified of Frederick. Although she was a cheerful lady who would laugh whenever her siblings were talking, but whenever it cto him, her lips were sealed tight and not a word would be uttered by her.

In reality, Frederick actually cared deeply for her, especially since their relationship with Hallie wasn't the best. Moreover, there wasn't a single moment in their entire lives where they received anything lesser than one another! He simply didn't know how to express his feelings with his words. If it wasn't for the previous incident that caused Caroline's trauma, the outcwould've definitely been different. She would've bonded well with Alicia due to her extroverted traits! As thoughts raced through his mind, Trevor nodded and said, "Fine, I'll be over in a minute!" As dusk settled in, Victoria was still slammed with work in the studio. It wasn't until the last stitch that she realized her stomach was growling in hunger.

Gazing at the last finalized gown that was hanging on the clothing rack, she took off her apron with a satisfied smile. At that moment, she quickly groomed herself before she donned the gown.

"Everything is finally done!"

Stretching her body, she grabbed her notebook and checked the entries before she added a few more notes Vine under the list, "Missing a head feather accessory! The necklace needs smodifications, earrings... it lacks two flowers!" It was a reminder for her to add them in the next day.

After a brief clean-up, she then closed the studio's door and headed back to her office. As she was about to leave, she was taken aback by the notification that popped up on her phone.

"What the hell?! Is he seriously trying to screwover now?" She cussed with a low voice and she instantly made a phone call,

"Director Vives, what on Earth did you do? My exhibition is just around the corner and you're only tellingthat the model can't make it now! What about all the finalized dresses. I How NO am supposed to find a model that is the exact size as the previous one at a tlike this?! I don't care what it takes, you better finda replacement within two days!" "What are you talking about? A model... Do you mean Lisa? She suffered a burn injury on her thigh, so she can't walk at all..." Director Vives muttered.

Victoria was already losing her mind the minute she answered the call, yet his frantic voice and the pacing m npises on the other end only made things worse.
