Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Lindsay forced a bitter smile with tears in her eyes. Her nails pierced into her palms as she said, "I didn't... overthink!" She actually thought otherwise.

But even a child would not believe his words, let alone her! The news stated that he had bought the tie, as well as the dance, at a sky-high price. Besides, Alicia even put it on him personally. Lindsay had seen the photo was that red tie which was indeed very eyecatching. However, she was surprised as she didn't see the tie anywhere around.

Lindsay's mind was full of thoughts. But, on the surface, she seemed to be very tolerant and magnanimous.

"In fact, I know that you always have her in your heart and I know that I can't replace her. I just hope that you can givea chance to have a small place in your heart, then I will be satisfied." Lindsay lowered her eyes and sobbed in grievance.

"Both of you have always been in love with each other. I shouldn't have made my move on you. In fact, I like Alicia very much too. I really want you two to reconcile like the old days... I am really working hard on it. However, I don't know now. I don't want to be a bad woman, but I can't bear to leave my baby..." Touching her belly, Lindsay gritted her teeth as she was furious yet sad! She had worked hard for three years and endured all kinds of hardship but what did she get? What did that woman do? How could Alicia have a place in his heart without doing anything? The feeling of guilt welled up in Jeremy again. He stepped forward and hugged her tightly.

Out of the blue, Jeremy cto his senses and nodded his head. "Okay!" "I knew you'd agree-" When Lindsay threw herself into his arms, she smiled. But, the smile was insincere and she didn't feel happy at all.

In the hospital, Alicia's complexion wasn't looking good when she opened her eyes. When she saw the bright sun outside the window and the phone on the table, her face immediately fell.

Just as Alicia lifted the quilt and was getting up, the door of the room opened before her feet could even touch the ground. "What are you doing? Lie down!" Then, Frederick cin with breakfast in his hands. "Why are you in such a hurry? Are you going to work again?" There was no need to ask. Frederick already knew what was going on in her mind. He glanced at her and spoke, "Your attendance bonus is gone." She really had opened his eyes. This was his first tseeing someone who loved money more than her own health! The reason why Frederick said that was to let her rest. However, when Alicia heard his words, it was a totally different meaning to her.

It was like a thorn piercing the most vulnerable part of her heart. When she turned around and went back to the bed, her eyes couldn't help but look dull.

For three whole years, no matter what job she had done, she had never asked for leave. But after being with Frederick for a few months, she felt very unlucky.

Whenever he cback from outstation, she would somehow happen to end up in a hospital.

The pressure in her heart doubled. She only felt that everything was a mess! Seeing that she seemed to be a little unhappy, Frederick's tone eased a little. He poured a hot bowl of soup for her and headed towards her. He tried to cool it down by blowing on it and brought it to her mouth.

"I'll compensate you double the amount. I won't let your 'little vault' lose money! Drink ssoup!" In the past, hearing his teasing words, Alicia would feel spoiled and elated. But this time, she didn't feel that way at all. She could only hear contempt, mockery and disdain.

She didn't want his money! Without him, she would just be a little tired at most. If not, she would just ask Victoria for help But, she didn't refute him as she didn't even want to talk about it with him again! Looking at the spoon in front of her, she did not drink it. Instead, she said, "I want to drink water!" "Alright!" Frederick handed the bowl of soup to her and got up to pour her a cup of warm water. When he turned around with the water, he saw that Alicia had already eaten the bowl of hot soup.

When Frederick returned to the bed, Alicia placed the bowl down and pulled the quilt over her head to rest.

Suddenly, he realized that she seemed to be different this time. She didn't want to drink water at all. She just didn't want him to feed her!
