Despite employing a substantial amount of explosives, the bronze door remained impervious, showcasing its
exceptional durability. Even sheer brute force proved ineffective.
Grace, with a slight furrow in her brow, suggested, "Search for mechanisms or anything that might assist us."
"Got it!" The envoy team leader promptly responded, directing his team to explore. Despite an extensive search
within the grand hall, they discovered nothing.
"Ms. Linsor," Garrett interjected. "Save your efforts. The solution to open this bronze door is right here."
Grace turned around, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Oh? Captain Wilder, do you recognize the symbols on
the door?"
"I've been on quite the journey, exploring historical sites and immersing myself in the study of intriguing symbols
for many years. It's becsecond nature to me." Garrett proudly shared.
He walked forward confidently and added, "If I'm not mistaken, this underwater palace was built by the ruler of
Sceptoria a thousand years ago.

"Those tadpole-like symbols on it represent the written language of Sceptoria."
Jackson exclaimed, offering a thumbs-up and a sincere compliment, "Who would have guessed that you possess
such extensive knowledge, even about a culture from a millennium ago? Impressive."
When it cto such matters, he admitted he was completely clueless.
"Well, our captain was a brilliant archaeology prodigy before founding the Black Scorpion Squad. His expertise in
the history of various eras is unparalleled," Silva stated proudly.
"Oh, that's ancient history now. A genuine hero focuses on the present." Garrett modestly dismissed the praise,
waving his hand.
After years of being looked down on, it was finally his tto showcase his knowledge.
"Captain Wilder, given your expertise with Sceptoria's script, do you reckon there's a way to unlock this door?"
Grace asked.
"Sure thing." Garrett approached the bronze door, gently running his fingers over the various symbols.
"Based on the inscriptions here, it looks like the key to opening the door is this ruby-like gem that resembles an
eye."
Garrett then placed his hand on the ruby and pushed down firmly. There was a satisfying "click" as the gem sank
about an inch.
He then took hold of the ruby, making three turns to the left and three turns to the right.
With a total of six twists, the bronze door had activated smechanism inside. The central area began to
rotate, emitting a rhythmic "clink-clink" sound that shook off specks of dust with each movement. "Haha... did
you see that? The bronze door is moving!"
The sight brought forth a burst of joy from everyone present.
"Garrett, you've got sskills!" Jackson complimented.
"Captain Wilder deserves all the credit! Tackling a bronze door that explosives couldn't budge on, he made it
seem like a walk in the park. Quite impressive!"

"Bringing in the Black Scorpion Squad for backup turned out to be a smart move!"
Garrett basked in the applause from the crowd, a touch of delight creeping into his demeanor.
Though his combat skills were not exceptional, his keen mind had guided the Black Scorpion Squad to
remarkable success.
"Ms. Linsor, any thoughts on my performance? | hope I didn't disappoint," Garrett quipped with a proud smile.
Grace acknowledged. "Captain Wilder, your prowess in both intellect and combat is truly remarkable." She
couldn't deny that Garrett possessed simpressive skills.
"I'm not claiming to be a master at both, but compared to those relying solely on brute force, I'd say I've got a
couple of brains," Garrett mentioned, giving Dustin a meaningful look.
He pondered, "Sure, he's good in a fight, but at the end of the day, he's just a martial artist without much
strategic thinking. When it comes to handling situations, he still needs my cunning and wit."
As Garrett savored his contentment, an unexpected turn of events took place.
