An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1229
Dustin’s gaze sent a chilling fear through Vlad’s core. Vlad had thought his plans were foolproof, but
Dustin’s strength shattered those hopes.
“Let them go, or face the consequences, “Dustin warned, projecting a menacing presence.
“No way!” Vlad, furious, pulled out a gun and aimed at Dustin. But before he could react, Dustin
disappeared and reappeared before him.
“You-” Vlad was startled, and Dustin grabbed his wrist, snapping it violently.
“Ah!”
The gun dropped from Vlad’s hand, and a strong hand gripped his throat, silencing him. His face turned
red as he struggled in vain, his feet off the ground.

or you won’t leave here alive!” Vlad desperately threatened.
“I’m asking you, where is Natasha?” Dustin increased the pressure on Vlad’s throat, making it hard for
him to breathe.
Vlad’s face turned purple, and he began to kick wildly.
“Stop!”
At that moment, key members of the Grant family and armed soldiers rushed forward, led by Tyler.
“Dustin! Release Vlad now, or you’ll regret it!” Kate shouted. She believed Vlad’s men could capture
Dustin, but they had been defeated.
“Tyler… save… save me!” Vlad struggled to turn his head, his voice hoarse.
“Release him, and I’ll spare your life,” Tyler declared coldly. “I should be saying that. Release Natasha,
and I’ll spare your brother’s life,” Dustin said firmly.
“Natasha?” Tyler furrowed his brows and looked at Kate, somewhat puzzled. “What’s going on?”
“Ty, I captured Hector and planned to interrogate him about the treasure map, but he refused to talk.
So, I kidnapped Natasha to use as leverage,” Kate replied in a hushed tone.
Tyler slapped Kate without hesitation and said coldly, “Didn’t I tell you not to touch Natasha?”
He could harm anyone from the Harmon family, but not Natasha. After all, she was the granddaughter
of the Duke of Dragonmarsh, a person with immense power.
“Ty, I… I did it for the sake of the treasure map,” Kate said, covering her stinging face and nodding
repeatedly.
“Is she dead?” he asked.
“No, she’s not.” She shook her head vigorously. “If there’s a next time, don’t blame me for being

“Yeah, yes, I’ll be more careful in the future,” Kate replied with a forced smile. Being slapped in front of
so many people was embarrassing, but she had no choice.
Tyler diverted his gaze and said indifferently, “Dustin, you have no right to negotiate with me. Release
my brother now, or die!”
With those words, he made a gesture with his hand. Immediately, armed soldiers surrounded Dustin,
their rifle barrels aimed at various vital points. When Tyler gave the order, a hail of bullets rained down
on him.
“This brat doesn’t know his place. He dared to cause trouble in the Grant family. Now, he’s done for.”
“He’s just a martial artist. No matter how strong he is, can he survive this?”
“If he releases the hostage now, there’s still a chance. But if he resists, there’s only one way to go-
death.”
The onlookers discussed in hushed voices as they watched the armed soldiers approaching.
