Chapter 695 Annoying Women
Josephine actually wished that Lizbeth could join her, and together they could be with Jared. The two of them were
close friends, after all. They could even keep each other company when Jared was off on his trip.
Lizbeth stayed in the washroom for an entire hour before she left. Josephine’s jaw dropped when she saw Lizbeth
standing there. “Lizbeth, y-you’ve changed too. Quick, come check yourself out in the mirror.”
Lizbeth hurried to the mirror upon hearing that. She jumped with excitement when she saw how smooth and
beautiful her skin was.
Jared was staring instinctively as well. After taking the detoxification pill, Lizbeth exuded a different aura.
The two ladies standing side by side were equally beautiful, but their aura was completely different.
Josephine was like a graceful deity, whereas Lizbeth was like a goddess of war. Well, that made sense since the
latter used to work for the Department of Justice.
Jared couldn’t help thinking the dirty when he saw the two of them standing right in front of him.

fantastic!
Jared smiled like an idiot without realizing it. He was so deep in his fantasy that he didn’t even notice Josephine and
Lizbeth walking over.
The ladies turned to one another after they stared at that stupid smile. They shouted simultaneously.
Jared jumped in response. That was when he came around and saw that both Josephine and Lizbeth were staring at
him with the strangest glow in their eyes. He sat back up on the couch right away.
“Jared, what were you smiling about earlier?” asked Lizbeth.
“N-Nothing in particular,” replied Jared awkwardly.
“I bet he’s fantasizing about having the two of us sleeping with him at night. That’s probably why he was smiling like
an idiot.”
Josephine hit a bull’s eye. It was exactly what was going on in his mind.
“Oh, stop bullsh*tting. That was not what was on my mind,” lied Jared. He sprang up from the couch to head out.
“You girls have dinner without me. I have some errands to run.”
He no longer had the guts to stay at home. Who knows? Those ladies might actually con me into something.
Jared had nothing to do after he left the mansion in Dragon Bay, so he invited Tommy out for a drink. He knew a lot
of people in the city, but only drank with a handful of them.
Soon, Jared and Tommy met up in a bar. The place belonged to the Templar Regiment, so the employees greeted
them warmly as soon as they showed up.
“Mr. Chance, you just had an intense battle against Xander, so why aren’t you resting at home? How come you are
out for a drink?”
Tommy had gotten them a bottle of red wine and poured Jared a glass.
“I have two women at home. Both are annoying, so I came out to get some fresh air,” replied Jared.
He grinned in exasperation before downing his drinks.
“Ah, but that life is what most men crave, isn’t it?” said Tommy. He sipped some red wine as well.
“So, how are things between you and Phoenix?” asked Jared.

happy we could both serve under you, Mr. Chance.”
Tommy had always appreciated Jared because the latter was the reason he became a Grandmaster. Without
Jared’s help, it was likely Tommy would never reach that level.
“Well, I’m glad you realize you’re getting older. You should hurry and make a baby soon. At least give yourself an
heir. It’s not too bad for a martial artist in his early forties to have a kid.”
Anyone who reached the level of Senior Grandmaster could live longer than an average human being. Many lived
to be over a hundred. In fact, that was the norm for them because they were physically stronger and healthier than
the average person.
“I have never even thought about having a kid. It’s simply too troublesome.”
Tommy chuckled. He had ruled as the underground king for most of his life, so he never even thought about having
a kid.
Jared simply grinned in response. He had no right to butt into matter like that, so he wouldn’t comment about it.
