“Why is your brother so petty?” Ava felt bad for Enrico after hearing what he said. “I’ve already gotten used to it after so many
years. I just didn’t expect him to still be chasing me around even when I’m in another country.” Enrico smiled bitterly. He looked
no different from a little boy who forced a smile after suffering all sorts of bullies at home. Selden had told Ava about her life
before she lost her memory. Ava used to be bullied by her own stepsister at home as well, so now she could empathize with
Enrico after hearing all that from him. “Damien Radbury... He’s such a powerful businessman and yet still couldn’t let his brother
off the hook. He doesn’t deserve to have everything.” Ava said. Enrico smiled and said, “Well, he doesn’t have everything
though.” “What does this mean?”
“For a man who could get whatever he wanted ever since he was young, my brother couldn’t have the one thing he wants the
most. Sometimes, I feel bad for him too.”
Ava didn’t think too much about what Enrico meant when he said that about Damien. She had a pleasant talk with Enrico and felt
that he was a very kind younger brother who didn’t have a lot of grudges for this elder brother.
“You’re really nice,” She said sincerely. “Oh trust me, I’m not.” Enrico chuckled. Right at this time, Selden reached home. He
heard the laughter of Enrico and Ava talking happily in the room and he was immediately taken aback. “What are you guys
talking about?” Selden walked into the living room. Ava immediately turned around and welcomed him back. As for Enrico, he
was still lazily leaning on the sofa with a casual smile on his face. “We were talking about my bad brother.” Selden’s expression
instantly changed. It turned it that they were actually talking about Damien Radbury! He dragged Enrico to the corner of the

had his carefree smile on his face. Since he had gotten the ticket, he didn’t want to stay
any longer too. After saying goodbye to Ava, he left. Ava saw that Selden’s face was still cold and asked, “What’s wrong?” “Did
he tell you something?” “No, we were just chatting casually. What’s wrong with you, Selden? After seeing Enrico yesterday, you
seemed to be in a bad mood.” He was relieved that Ava didn’t ask him anything much. It seemed that Enrico really did not reveal
anything.
In the afternoon of the same day at the Avarnia Airport.
The airport’s dimension was small since the population of the town was quite little. There were limited flights every day. Enrico
took the ticket that Selden gave him and boarded the plane in a carefree mood. Since he was wearing sunglasses and
headphones, he did not notice that Damien passed by him just less than a few meters away. Similarly, Damien did not catch
sight of him either. After more than ten hours of the long-distance flight, he finally arrived. Damien and his men were exhausted
at this point. “The two of you stay here to keep an eye. The rest of you will follow the plan.” Damien ordered. Enrico was a
sneaky one. He knew Damien would get mad after finding out that he was in a business engagement with their competitor, so he
came here to hide.

Damien didn’t have the time to rest at all.
For the past six months, he had been forcing himself to stay busy all the time. All this while, he did not show any signs of fatigue

At the town’s market.
It was a sparsely populated town and it was also one of the most crowded places. The market would open once in the morning
and evening respectively. Selden would come here every evening to buy food that Ava loved and make her soup. After sending
off Enrico just now, he felt more relieved. He had a bad feeling. Perhaps it was time for them to go to a new place. It wasn’t safe
staying here for too long.
Just as he was lost in his thoughts, a figure that he was familiar with walked up to him.
Selden was stunned. Why was Damien Radbury here?
He hurriedly turned around and tried to hide, but he was too late.

Selden started to panic. He was barely keeping his calm. “I thought you would come sooner or later, but I didn’t expect you to
come so soon.” He wondered to himself. Even if it was Enrico who informed Damien about his whereabouts with Ava, the flight
to Avarnia was very long. In fact, Damien was here after such a short period. So, it couldn’t be Enrico. However, Damien didn’t
seem to be here for Ava. He just said, “Seems like it’s fate to meet you here. Too bad for Kelly though. She’s been looking for
you.” “Huh?” Selden was stunned. He didn’t expect Damien to not mention anything about Ava at all. Damien didn’t notice
anything strange and he continued, “Kelly has been looking for you, don’t you know?” Kelly Hensley... it was a name he hadn’t
heard for a long time. He once thought that as long as he hid somewhere, he could cut off his connections with these people.
“What are you actually doing here, Damien?” Selden suppressed his anger.
