didn't expect Helen to make such a low-level mistake, given how experienced she is in the finance
department..."
"Let the past be the past. I don't want to talk about it anymore." Jessica cut her off.
Noel looked at her, feeling a little lost.
Jessica said forthrightly, "I'm someone who never regrets or bemoans what has already happened.
Doing well in the present and planning for the future is what I choose to focus on."
"So Ms. Stuart, you called me here today..." Noel ventured cautiously.
"This is 31% of Sachs Enterprises' shares." Jessica pulled out a contract and placed it in front of Noel.
