Chapter 99 Won’t Let You Off
Natalie looked at him and continued to smile. Cedric felt a burst of irritation at her demeanor!
Bang!
He stood up and slammed his fist hard on her office desk. The force was so strong that her desk
trembled.
Natalie replied, “Yes, I told her to post it. I originally intended for you to look at it first. You knew that.
Why
are you asking again?”
“How could you do such a thing?”
How could she do such a thing?
Did she do something wrong?
She was just retaliating.
Based on Cedric’s logic, was she supposed to lie down and take the beating if someone came after
her? Could she not return a hit or two?
Natalie ignored the pain in her chest and took a deep breath.
“It’s best if you leave immediately!!
“Natalie, if anything happens to her, I won’t let you off!” The man roared and
Natalie trembled with anger.
As the man left, she shot back, “I’m ready anytime!”
He wouldn’t let her off?
Did he think she was afraid of him?
Bang!
The office door slammed shut.

Cedric truly challenged her understanding!

What did it mean for Isabella to be truly blind? There were several possible interpretations!

“Do you need to temporarily go back to Simeria?” Karina asked, looking at Natalie with concern.
Karina was a smart person; she naturally understood the purpose of Isabella’s actions. Everyone on
Natalie’s side knew that Isabella was targeting Natalie. And Natalie was well aware of the relationship
between Isabella and Cedric.
Ivan had died for Cedric!
Otherwise, why would Cedric propose the idea of letting her use her eyes for Isabella? He wouldn’t
easily
involve her.
It was evident that Isabella held a special place in his heart, to a truly repulsive extent.
Natalie closed her eyes.
When she opened them again, they were clear and sharp.
“Help me find a private investigator.”
“What do you mean?”
“My uncle is too far away. It’s taking too long. I need to know as soon as possible why Isabella hates
me!”
It wasn’t as simple as Isabella wanting Cedric for herself. If it were just because of Cedric, she would
be like Christina and end the animosity after Natalie had divorced Cedric
But instead of letting go, Isabella had become more ferocious. She even cruelly blinded herself.
In such a situation, Natalie was curious about what kind of person Isabella really was.
At this moment, Natalie had only one thought: to find out!
Stephen was in Simeria.
That was too far away…!
“Alright, I understand,” Karina nodded.
In reality, Stephen hadn’t been too concerned about Isabella’s situation. He had been busy putting
things into place for Natalie to inherit his position.
Outside of this matter, nothing else was important.
As for Isabella’s situation, Natalie could handle it herself, so he wasn’t overly concemed. If he had
been, the results would have been different by now.
Karina understood this.
At the hospital, there were doctors and nurses in the ward when Cedric arrived. Yuvan was also inside.
The bandage covering Isabella’s eyes had already been removed, revealing a wound that looked

Yuvan kept persuading, “Ms. Morgan, don’t be like this! If you continue like this, you may never regain

eyesight.”
“I don’t mind not recovering. Humanity is so ugly. After seeing so much, it’s disgusting.” Isabella said,
sitting on the bed.
She was adamant about not letting anyone approach her.
Yuvan’s forehead was covered in a thin layer of cold sweat. Cedric had a gloomy expression in his
eyes as he watched the scene.
“M–Mr. Johnson!” A nurse, noticing the cold aura surrounding Cedric, stammered in fear.
Everyone tensed up when they saw Cedric. Upon hearing Cedric’s arrival, Isabella couldn’t help but
feel a sense of satisfaction!
Ignoring the nurse’s fear, Cedric approached and said, “Everyone, leave.”
“Yes, sir!”
With Cedric’s command, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and left the room in disarray. Yuvan
respectfully glanced at Cedric, nodded, and exited the room.
Once only Cedric and Isabelle were left in the ward, Cedric looked at Isabella’s back. Her long black
hair cascaded down her slender back.
Her appearance seemed even more fragile and slender, especially with her long, disheveled black hair.
“Why do you torment yourself like this?” Cedric’s suppressed anger was evident in his voice.
I don’t want to see it! Isabella’s response showed complete indifference to Cedric’s restrained anger.
Cedric sighed. ‘Behove yourself. Let me change the dressing for you.”
Leave. I don’t want to see you
Cedric’s attempt to ease the situation, Isabella remained adamant and strong–willed.
Cedric’s heart tightened. The wounds on her eyes seemed to be infected, indicating that she hadn’t
properly changed the dressing in the past few days.
The doctors had warned that it could be dangerous if the wounds became infected again.
“Isabella!” Cedric’s tone became more urgent. The thought that she might never see again made him
feel
suffocated.
